Shorter Days - a tribute to Wayne Shorter

Shorter days EPK

Guitarist Eran Har Even re-imagines Shorter’s timeless masterpieces in solo and trio, featuring bassist Omer Govreen and drummer Wouter Kühne.

“In the past three years I felt an urge to re-discover Wayne’s body of work. While learning and interpolating a large portion of his book of compositions I simultaneously dove into his ideology and lifestyle and found an ocean of inspiration, both musically as well as to discover much about myself” [Eran]

Eran’s musical concept is rooted in curiosity and conversation through stretching the borders of melody, harmony, texture and form. With his trio he flies high, celebrating life and exploring mysteries.

LIRA / Biggest music magazine in Sweden
"Har Even's playing is top class, which holds the record together."

Jazz Flits / Hans Invernizzi

George Cole / Jazzviews
"Har Even begins his version with a dream-like opening, his delicate guitar picking, accompanied by the sound of shimmering cymbals... it’s a really good re-imagination."
